1. Scott (21-11)

The Eagles won the battle for the top seed in the 37th District Tournament against Bishop Brossart on Wednesday and a home game against Boone County on Tuesday. Senior outside hitter Milyn Minor led the Eagles with 433 kills, 207 digs and 39 aces coming into the week.

Scott faces Montgomery County on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

2. Bishop Brossart (22-10)

The Mustangs have won five of their last six including wins over Augusta and Calvary Christian last week. Against Augusta, Evelyn Laker had 11 kills with Aubrey Rebholz tallying 22 assists and Grace Frommeyer had 15 digs.

Bishop Brossart plays twice the final week including a game at Walton-Verona on Tuesday.

3. George Roger Clark (19-7)

The Cardinals went 1-1 last week losing to Great Crossing, but completing a 6-0 run through 40th District seed play with a convincing 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-16) win over Paris on Thursday. Against Great Crossing, sophomore setter Anna Cooper had 21 assists and Teigh Yeast had 15 kills.

George Rogers Clark hosts Scott County on Tuesday.

4. Montgomery County (14-13)

The Indians finished 1-1 last week beating West Carter at home, but losing at Lexington Catholic.

Montgomery County travels to Scott on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.

5. Calvary Christian (21-5)

The Cougars rebounded from a loss to Bishop Brossart on Monday with wins over Newport and Walton-Verona. Against Walton-Verona, Anna Hickey had 22 kills and 21 digs and Megan Arthur recorded 13 kills. Natalia McGlynn had 21 assists and 12 digs with Annabel Leach adding 20. Freshmen Madison Stelzer and Ava Dahler had 22 and 16 digs, respectively.

6. Bracken County (24-6)

The Bears went 5-2 last week going 3-1 and finishing runner-up in the Bullitt Central Cougar Challenge on Saturday. In the win over Grant County, Macy Lucas had 20 kills and 19 digs with Jordan Ahrens and Isabella Godman recording 18 and 11 kills, respectively. Rees Hargett recorded 28 assists and 23 digs with Baylee Wilson tallying 20 assists and 19 digs. Makenzie Rudd added 14 digs.

Bracken County has one game this week.

7. Nicholas County (16-5)

The Jackets won both games last week including the first victory over Harrison County in program history on Monday by a 3-2 (22-25, 26-24, 27-25, 23-25, 15-10) score. Nicholas County had taken just one set from the Fillies in the 42 meetings prior to this season. The Jackets took one in the loss on Aug. 28.

In that historic win, Ali Reid had 25 assists, 33 digs and three aces with Mackenzie Davenport tallying 24 assists and 20 digs. Sadie Vice led the Jackets with 37 digs. Kylie Earlywine had 18 kills and 23 digs with Morgan Broderick recording 18 kills and 22 digs. Loralee Orazan added 15 kills and 18 digs.

Nicholas County does not play again until hosting Pendleton County on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.

8. Harrison County (15-11)

The Fillies rebounded from the loss Monday with a win over St. Patrick on Tuesday. In that win, Audree Whitaker led Harrison County with eight kills and Lexie Highlander had 24 assists. Twin sister Lauren Highlander led the Fillies with 12 digs.

The Fillies play three times this week.

9. Mason County (19-11)

The Royals went 2-1 last week to move closer to 20 wins on the season. In the win over Robertson County, Reagan Workman had seven kills and 12 digs and Mylie Padgett had seven kills and 10 digs. Kyleigh Kirk had 22 assists and 10 digs with Halle Pfeffer and Mylie Padgett had seven kills each. Kyleigh Kirk had 22 assists and 10 digs with Halle Pfeffer landing 22 digs. Hayley Allison dug up 14 balls with Kennedy Bevins recording 10.

Mason County plays twice this week including a game Tuesday at Pendleton County.

10. Augusta (11-8)

The Panthers finished 2-1 last week recording a huge win over Mason County in 39th District seed play. In the win over Robertson County, freshman Aryanna Davis had seven kills with Adalen Gilliam digging up 11 balls.

Augusta plays twice next week.

11. Campbell County (6-16)

The Camels broke their six-game losing streak with a win over Dixie Heights on Tuesday before losing to (Covington) Holy Cross on Thursday. In the loss to Holy Cross, Amerie Mullins had 13 kills and 11 digs with Hope Hamilton recording 25 kills and 11 digs. Faith Whitford led the Camels with 13 digs.

Campbell County travels to Harrison County on Tuesday.

12. Paris (5-14)

The Hounds concluded 40th District seed play 2-4 with a win over Bourbon County and a loss to George Rogers Clark. In the win over Bourbon County, Molly Mason had 15 kills, 17 assists and 12 digs with Mia Mason recording 13 kills and 18 assists. Anaiya Hayden added 23 assists.

Paris travels to Williamstown on Wednesday.

13. Bourbon County (6-16)

The Colonels snapped a 10-game losing streak with road wins over Frankfort and Pendleton County last week.

Bourbon County concludes the regular season at home against Harrison County on Thursday.

14. St. Patrick (8-15)

St. Patrick finished 1-1 last week with home win over Bath County on Thursday. In that win, Lillian Klee had 10 kills with Mia Neeley serving 14 aces. Hope Comer had 15 assists and Ella Neeley had 12 digs. Freshman Jenna Cummins added nine digs.

The Saints play three times this week to conclude the regular season.

15. Robertson County (4-22)

The Devils lost both games last week to 39th District opponents. In the loss to Augusta, Irene Dischar had eight assists and seven digs with Addisston Flack recording seven kills.

Robertson County does not play again until facing Harrison County at 5 p.m. in the 38th District Tournament at Nicholas County.

16. Pendleton County (3-24)

The Cats did beat Newport on Monday to earn another win in the rebuilding season before losing to Dayton and Bourbon County at home. In the loss to Bourbon County, Kaylee Loomis had 15 digs.

Pendleton County hosts Mason County on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
