1. George Rogers Clark (13-3) — The Cardinals have now won seven straight, and they picked up two district wins this week. First, they cruised past Bourbon County, 77–43. Then came the big rematch down I-64 against rival Montgomery County—their first meeting since last season’s historic regional finals, when the Indians won the title on a last-second shot. This time, the Cardinals returned the favor, winning in Mt. Sterling, 63–57. Montez Gay led with 17 points. Malachi Ashford had 16 and JaMylyn Johnson added 14.

2. Montgomery County (8-7) — The Indians are just above .500 to a tough schedule. Their losses are to Russell, Frederick Douglass, Holy Cross, Bryan Station, Princeton (OH), and George Rogers Clark this past week. Austin Sears is still awaiting an eligibility ruling.

3. Nicholas County (14-5) — The Bluejackets won their first 10th Region All “A” Classic title since 1994. They defeated Bishop Brossart 74-61 in the championship in Brooksville. Braxton Martin led with 25 points in the title game. Braxton Martin, Caiden Smith, and Preston Blake were named to the All-Tournament team.

4. Bishop Brossart (7-9) — The Mustangs lost on the All “A” finals to Nicholas County after falling behind early and being unable to come back in their late-game rally. Nick Cozzi and Beckett Kuntz were named to the All-Tournament Team.

5. Campbell County (13-4) — The Camels defeated Mason County in the Fieldhouse 82-46. Austin Davie led the team with 27 points. Cade Anthrop added 15 points with 8 rebounds. The Camels then rolled past district rival Scott 92-63 in Claryville. Austin Davie had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and Cade Anthrop had 25 points. Braden Elam had 12 points and 14 rebounds.

6. Bourbon County (11-7) — The Colonels lost at GRC this week and hosted crosstown rival Paris. They defeated the Greyhounds 79-75 in overtime. Dailyn Fields led with 20 points. Three other Colonels scored in double figures: Mark Perraut, Noah Earlywine, and Zarion Snowden.

7. Scott (9-7) — The Eagles lost to Campbell County in Claryville 92-63 and are now 1-1 in the district. Freshman newcomer Benjamin Brown scored 30 points in the loss.

8. Calvary Christian (10-6) — The Cougars won two games against Christian school opponents in Ohio. Collin Duty leads the team with 13.6 ppg and Luke Getsy follows with 11.1 ppg as well as 8.1 rpg.

9. Paris (2-12) — The Greyhounds lost an overtime battle to their crosstown rival, Bourbon County, on Saturday night. Starters Guy Turner and Andrew Johnson-Miles were both out with injury. However, the young Greyhounds made it a back-and-forth battle until the closing minutes. Braylon Francis (So.) had 22 points, DeVaughn Hutsell (8th) had 20, Brayden Strait (Fr.) had 15, Keegan Strait (8th) had 8, and Samuel Wilson (8th) had 8 as well.

10. Pendleton County (8-8) — The Wildcats played only one game this week, losing to Montgomery County in Mt. Sterling, 80-48. JaZi Grayson led with 18 points.

11. Bracken County (9-6) — The Polar Bears kept it close with Bishop Brossart in the 10th Region All “A” Classic semifinals, losing 65-57. Teegan Feldhaus leads the team with 17.9 ppg and 6-7 Kyler Burton follows with 14.8 ppg and 9.7 rpg.

12. Mason County (2-13) — The Royals have lost 10 straight, and their only two wins are against Augusta and Bracken County. They lost against rival St. Patrick without Ben Brookbank (17.7 ppg), who was injured, and to Fleming County, where Jace Merz (14.8 ppg) was injured for that one. Mason County not having their leading scorer againat St. Patrick keeps them ranked above, but the 39th District is truly a four-way tie coming toward the front-stretch of the season.

13. Harrison County (4-13) — The Thorobreds lost at Lafayette 70-51 on Saturday. Sawyer Cracraft led with 21 points.

14. Augusta (4-9) — The Panthers played one game this week against Carroll County. Maddox Hesler led with 30 points, and Ely Dean added 18.

15. St. Patrick (5-7) — The Saints shocked the region when they defeated crosstown rival Mason County for the first time since 2000. Amari Myrick had 30 points in that game in the Fieldhouse. The win has sent the 39th District into uncertainty as all four teams have a shot at cutting down the nets a month from now.

16. Robertson County (1-15) — The Black Devils lost to district opponent Harrison County. Lucas Burden is averaging 11.9 ppg and Ashton Meyers has 11 ppg.
