De’Sarae Chambers Perry named Mason County girls basketball coach

MAYSVILLE, Ky. — De’Sarae Chambers Perry is the new head girls basketball coach at Mason County the school announced on Thursday. She replaces Jay Fite after two seasons.

Chambers Perry is the all-time leading scorer in Mason County basketball history with 2,967 points in six seasons from 2002-03 to 2007-08. Her jersey is retired in the Maysville Gymnasium downtown. She went on to play basketball at the University of Dayton.

The Lady Royals lose their entire starting lineup from last season.
