He went on to play basketball at Western Kentucky University and played for 7 years professionally. He scored 1,000 points for the Hilltoppers and was named SunBelt Conference Freshman of the year. In 2002, he was named to the All-Sunbelt Conference Team.
He has spent time as an assistant coach at Bourbon County, Paris, Bryan Station, and Fredrick Douglass. Most recently, he was the head coach of the Lady Colonels who had a record of 5-24 in a tough 40th District.
