BREAKING: The KHSAA is moving away from the Riherds Scoreboard, which it has used for the last 20 years, and replacing it with Arbiter. The KHSAA hopes to make Arbiter an all-in-one resource similar to Riherds. Arbiter is currently used for assigning officials and registration forms.

The KHSAA will be pioneering a model to make Arbiter the home officials assignments, schedules, scores, rosters, and stats. Currently, schools have to enter schedules in KHSAA, Arbiter, NFHS Network, and GoFan. One of the features moving forward will allow schools to enter everything in Arbiter and have it upload other places.

Fans can download the “Arbiter Live” app. One example of this is LaRue County’s team page, which can be seen here: https://arbiterlive.com/Teams/Schedule/7044137.

The Riherds Scoreboard was created in the late 1990s by Frank T. Riherd. In a video to member schools, the reason for the switch was that the work has become too much for one person to handle. Frank Riherd will be assisting the KHSAA in the transition. The KHSAA has been a nationwide leader in score and stats reporting over the last two decades. No decision has been made on the current scoreboard or if it will continue.
