Montgomery County’s Andrew Terry has transferred to rival George Rogers Clark. A 6-foot-8 sophomore, Terry led the Indians with 20.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Terry transferred to Montgomery County from Owsley County as an incoming freshman in the summer of 2024. As an eighth-grader at Owsley County, he averaged 11.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

He now joins defending state champion George Rogers Clark, which loses starting point guard Malachi Ashford (13.7 ppg) and starting center Amari Bartelson (8.5 ppg). The Cardinals return starters Ryder Akins (14.5 ppg), Montez Gay (16.8 ppg), and Jamylyn Johnson (10.3 ppg).

Montgomery County was set to return a talented roster with Austin Sears (19.9 ppg) and Tyce Jarvis (19.4 ppg).
