The 37-40th District Tournaments wrapped on Tuesday evening. The field is set for the 10th Region Baseball & Softball Tournaments starting on Memorial Day. Here’s a rundown of all the games:

37th District at Bishop Brossart
Scott 3, Bishop Brossart 2
Scott won in walk-off fashion when Andy Reed singled home Trey Cook in the bottom of the seventh. Eli Smith helped keep Scott in it with an RBI single in the fourth and an RBI double in the sixth, finishing 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Reed and Hunter Allison each added two hits, while Ty Cook earned the win by allowing one hit and two unearned runs over seven innings with 12 strikeouts. Kasey Moeller had Bishop Brossart’s lone hit, a double, and Brady Boruske drew three walks.
Campbell County 15, Calvary Christian 0
Campbell County scored six runs in the first inning and finished with 14 hits in a three-inning win. Camden Tiemeier went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, three runs and two stolen bases, while Trip Mercurio went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Micah Price added two hits and two RBIs, and Tyler Schumacher went 2-for-3 with a home run. Lucas Anthrop pitched three hitless innings, striking out five and walking two.
Campbell County 3, Scott 0
Tyler Schumacher led Campbell County with a complete-game shutout and also drove in the first run with a sixth-inning double. Schumacher allowed two hits, struck out 13 and walked two, while going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run. Gavin Kramer followed Schumacher’s double with an RBI single, and Lucas Anthrop added a sacrifice fly. Carson Bleha doubled and Andy Reed singled for Scott’s two hits.
38th District at Nicholas County
Harrison County 15, Robertson County 0
Harrison County scored five runs in the first inning and 10 in the second, led by Donavan Walker’s 3-for-3 day with a double and four RBIs. Ian Hopkins went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs, while Blake Green was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Simon Jenkins earned the win with 1 2/3 scoreless innings, and Easton Martin followed with 1 1/3 hitless innings. Ashton Myers had Robertson County’s only hit, a triple.
Nicholas County 10, Pendleton County 0
Nicholas County used an eight-run third inning to pull away, with Asher Holland, Jackson Zimmerman and Braxtyn Mynear each collecting two hits. Holland, Zimmerman and Bentley Crump each drove in two runs, while Jayden Robinson added a sacrifice fly and earned the win, allowing three hits over five scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Ellis Shutters, Kevin Miles and Easton Verst each had one hit for Pendleton County.
Harrison County 10, Nicholas County 0
Harrison County scored in five of six innings, with Brock Coy leading the offense by going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and three RBIs. B.J. Napier had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, while Ian Hopkins, Jordan Persinger and Keaton Custard also had multiple hits. Cooper Slade pitched six scoreless innings, allowing three hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Zimmerman, Robinson and Holland each had one hit for Nicholas County.
39th District at Mason County
Mason County 10, Augusta 0
Macen Grooms pitched six hitless innings and Mason County backed him with a four-run first inning. Grooms struck out seven and walked three, while Carter Roark went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs. Camden Gregory also had two hits, and Grooms and Hayden Workman each drove in two runs. Luke Butler, Micah Payne and Brady Mefford each stole multiple bases as Mason County finished with 13 stolen bases.
Mason County 13, Bracken County 2
Mason County scored 12 unanswered runs after Bracken County took an early 2-0 lead. Micah Payne led the Royals by going 2-for-2 with a double, four RBIs, two runs, two walks and three stolen bases. Luke Butler added two hits, Brady Mefford drove in two runs and Carter Roark earned the win, allowing three hits and two runs, one earned, over five innings with nine strikeouts. Mitchell Steinhauer, Caleb Sutton and Justis Johnson had Bracken County’s hits, with Steinhauer driving in the Polar Bears’ lone earned run.
40th District at Montgomery County
Montgomery County 15, Paris 0
Montgomery County scored 12 runs in the first inning, led by Abe Mullins’ grand slam and five-RBI game. Mullins went 2-for-3 with a home run, while Carter Poe went 3-for-3 and Brody Roland finished 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Rex Turner also drove in multiple runs, and Jaimen Caba pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit with three strikeouts and three walks. Sam Morris had Paris’ only hit.
George Rogers Clark 7, Bourbon County 0
Myles Frick struck out 18 in a complete-game shutout for George Rogers Clark, allowing three hits and one walk. The Cardinals scored in each of the first three innings, with Caleb Pierce singling in two runs in the third. Pierce and Blake Wheeler had George Rogers Clark’s two hits. Justify Christopher went 2-for-2 for Bourbon County, and Jackson Norris added the Colonels’ other hit.
Montgomery County 3, George Rogers Clark 2
Montgomery County took the lead with two runs in the fifth, helped by hits from Marcus Wells, Jayse Mays and Carter Poe, plus Brody Roland’s run-scoring fielder’s choice. Evan Copher earned the win by allowing four hits and two runs, one earned, over seven innings with nine strikeouts. Poe, Mays, Rex Turner and Wells each had one hit for the Indians. Walker Overton went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for George Rogers Clark.

Campbell County 12, Scott 6
Campbell County used a seven-run fifth inning to regain the lead, highlighted by Samantha Perry’s bases-clearing double. Perry went 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs, three runs and two walks, while Lilly Phirman, Josie Feebeck and Faith Whitford each had two hits. Hope Hamilton earned the win, allowing six hits and six runs, two earned, over seven innings with four strikeouts. Jamie Golden drove in two runs for Scott, and Rylee Gribble went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run.
Bishop Brossart 19, Calvary Christian 0
Bishop Brossart scored 13 runs in the first inning and finished with 15 hits. Leah Robinson led the Mustangs by going 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, while Tessa Wells, Rachel Shewmaker and Avery Wietholter each added two hits. Anna Bezold earned the win, allowing two hits over two scoreless innings with two strikeouts, and Maggie McKenzie pitched a scoreless inning in relief. Kennedy Wright and Olivia Alspach had Calvary Christian’s hits.
Bishop Brossart 4, Campbell County 1
Bishop Brossart scored all four of its runs in the first two innings and got a complete-game effort from Anna Bezold. Bezold allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six and walking four. Rachel Shewmaker led the Mustangs by going 2-for-3 with a double, and Leah Robinson added a triple. Faith Whitford and Addison Coplen had Campbell County’s hits, while Elexis Gugel threw 4 1/3 scoreless innings in relief with five strikeouts.
38th District at Harrison County
Harrison County 13, Robertson County 2
Harrison County scored nine runs in the first inning, led by production from the bottom of the lineup. Breckyn Bramel went 3-for-3 with a triple, two runs and an RBI, while Kara Eubanks, Aleigha Newby and Hollyn Price each drove in two runs. Eubanks earned the win, allowing one hit and two unearned runs over three innings, and MaKayla Garabrandt added two scoreless innings in relief with four strikeouts. Madi Case had Robertson County’s only hit.
Pendleton County 10, Nicholas County 0
Pendleton County scored in each of the first three innings, with Aubrey Mullins driving in three runs and Kinly Cooper and Hannah Spaulding each collecting two hits. Spaulding earned the win in relief, allowing two hits over 4 2/3 scoreless innings while striking out 11 and walking none. Rylan Anderson started and recorded one out. Ava Hunt, Sidney Sexton and Lambrie Evans each had one hit for Nicholas County.
Harrison County 5, Pendleton County 0
Shyanne Ross pitched a complete-game shutout for Harrison County, allowing two hits while striking out 12 and walking none. Isabella Persinger went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBIs, while Emma Hamm added two hits and two RBIs. Karsyn Bennett had two hits and scored twice. Hannah Spaulding struck out 12 over six innings for Pendleton County, and Spaulding and Kinly Cooper had the Ladycats’ two hits.
39th District at Bracken County
Mason County 16, Augusta 0
Mason County finished with 11 hits in a three-inning win, led by Olivia Hughes and Aubrey Gross. Hughes went 2-for-2 with a triple and four RBIs, while Gross went 2-for-2 with a double, triple, two runs and two RBIs. Kylah Turner also had a triple and an RBI, and several Lady Royals added one RBI apiece. Hughes pitched two hitless innings with three strikeouts, and Lylia Wells added one hitless inning with three strikeouts.
Mason County 3, Bracken County 2
Reagan Workman’s two-run home run in the fourth inning gave Mason County enough offense to hold off Bracken County. Delana Rigg earned the win, allowing six hits and two runs over seven innings while striking out 11 and walking one. Workman went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs, while Rigg doubled and scored. Kyndall Johnson drove in both Bracken County runs with a two-run homer, and Jenna Colvin went 2-for-3 with a double.
40th District at Paris
George Rogers Clark 20, Bourbon County 1
George Rogers Clark scored eight runs in the first inning and 12 in the second, led by Jordyn Abner’s 3-for-3 game with a home run, double, three runs and two RBIs. Jayda Grigsby went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, while Bella Guinn drove in three runs. Zynia Tichenor, Lexi Burke and Lila Fugate each had two hits, and Tichenor earned the win by allowing one hit and one run over three innings with four strikeouts. A. Gaunce had Bourbon County’s lone hit and RBI on a solo home run.
Montgomery County 15, Paris 1
Montgomery County answered an early Paris run with three in the first and seven in the second. Kinley Auxier led the Lady Indians by going 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and three runs, while Makenna Martin had two doubles and three RBIs. Baylee Montgomery, Kylie Maynard, Bella Baker, Lilly Clark and Kelsie Dotson each added a hit. Clark earned the win, allowing three hits and one run over five innings with four strikeouts. Cyra McDaniels, Jamyah Bell and Kenley Pasley each had one hit for Paris.
George Rogers Clark 17, Montgomery County 2
George Rogers Clark scored three runs in the first inning and 10 in the second, led by Bella Guinn, Addison Mathews and Lilli Hill. Guinn went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, Mathews went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, and Hill went 3-for-3 with three doubles and four RBIs. Hill also earned the win, allowing one hit and two unearned runs over three innings while striking out five and walking four. Baylee Montgomery had Montgomery County’s only hit and RBI.
