Augusta will look to find a quick replacement as official practice starts on October 15th. They open their season on December 1st at Newport Central Catholic.

He posted the following message on Facebook:

After much thought and consideration, I have decided to step down as the Head Coach of the Augusta Independent Girls Varsity Basketball Team. This has been an incredible journey, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with such dedicated athletes, supportive families, and an amazing school community.

Coaching this team has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Watching these young women grow on and off the court has been a privilege, and I will always be proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

Thank you to the players, parents, staff, and fans who have supported me throughout my time as Lady Panthers head coach. I look forward to cheering on the Lady Panthers in the future and seeing all the great things this program will continue to achieve.

Once a Panther, always a Panther 🖤🏀🧡
