Former Montgomery County slugger and 2024 Miss Softball Reaghan Oney announced on Wednesday night that she is transferring to Kentucky after spending her freshman year at Troy in Alabama.
Oney played in 48 games for Troy last year, starting in 38 of them. She finished with a .321 batting average, 36 hits, six doubles, two triples, and two home runs.
Reaghan Oney was been named Miss Softball and 10th Region Player of the Year by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association. Oney set a state record for most home runs in a season with 24. As a senior, she had 79 hits and a .594 batting average with 79 RBIs.
