MAYSVILLE, Ky. — St. Patrick boys basketball coach Lex Turner has resigned after two seasons in his second stint. His first stint lasted 28 seasons from 1976-77 to 2003-04.
The Saints were 3-24 in 2024-25 and improved to 7-17 this past season with their first win over Mason County in 25 years. Coach Turner was rehired as the coach on July 8, 2025. He finishes his career with 30 seasons as head coach of the Saints and 375 wins.

Coach Turner officially announced his retirement from his role as head coach of the Varsity Boys Basketball team today. We want to express our deepest gratitude for his years of commitment, guidance, and inspiration to St. Patrick School and our students.
