Logan Kennedy of GRC and Avery Wietholter of Bishop Brossart go up for a rebound in the 10th Region Quarterfinals on March 3, 2026 in Winchester, KY.

The first round of the 10th Region Girls Basketball Tournament was played at the site of the district champions on Monday night. The semifinals and finals will be played at Harrison County on Friday and Saturday.

Mason County 59, Pendleton County 42
The Lady Royals hosted the Ladycats at the Fieldhouse where they led 16-8 at halftime before going up 29-23 at the half. This was the last game for Lilly Ashcraft, one of the best girls basketball players in Pendleton County history.

George Rogers Clark 77, Bishop Brossart 23
GRC led 23-8 after the first quarter and stretched the margin to 47-15 by halftime, putting the game under a running clock. The win moved the four-time defending region champion Cardinals to 27-2, while Bishop Brossart finished its season at 25-8. Bishop Brossart ended the year with several accomplishments, including a 13-0 start, a Lady Invitational of the South title, and the 10th Region All “A” championship. In the quarterfinal, however, GRC controlled both ends of the floor. Kennedy Stamper scored 18 points in the first half and finished with a game-high 22, while GRC’s defense limited Brossart’s leading scorer, Kylie Smith, to just two points. Campbell County 76, Montgomery County 61
The Lady Camels used their home court well, making 12 three-pointers and getting a career-high 32 points from Kendall Augsback. Campbell County took control with a 28-point third quarter and built a 20-point lead entering the fourth. Montgomery County opened the fourth quarter with a 9-0 run to cut the deficit, but Campbell answered and held on to move into a semifinal matchup with Nicholas County. Izzy Jayasuriya added 24 points and 15 rebounds for Campbell, while Montgomery County was led by Elaine Purvis with 20 points. The loss ended Montgomery County’s season at 20-11.
