Bracken County has suspended head boys basketball coach Terry King for two games after directing his players to walk-off the court against Bath County on February 10th.

With 1:03 left in the game down 62-51, a Bracken County player was issued a technical foul. While the Bath County player was shooting the technical free throws, Coach King directed his players off the court and into the locker room.

The game was streamed on the From Corner2Corner Podcast and the NFHS Network.

Bracken County is 11-12 on the season and recently claimed the No. 1 seed in the 39th District Tournament. King is in his third season as head coach of the Polar Bears, hoping to win the school’s first district title since 1999.
