1. George Rogers Clark

L – Madison Central (66-94)

The Cardinals drop to 2-2 after falling to Madison Central in Richmond. GRC was outmatched and never overcame a bad start against the Indians on Allen Feldhaus, Jr. Court. Ryder Akins led with 26 points and Malachi Ashford followed with 16. Jake Feldhaus had 34 points and 18 rebounds for Madison Central.

2. Montgomery County

L – Frederick Douglass (63-71)
L – Russell (45-63)

The Indians dropped to 1-2 after two losses under interim head coach Dustin High. However, they managed to come back and lose by only eight points to No. 2 Frederick Douglass. Andrew Terry led with 25 points and 15 rebounds.

3. Campbell County

W – Conner (71-69)

The Camels improved to 3-1 in their win against Conner. Austin Davie led with 25 points and made the game-winning shot on an assist from Xander Guy.

4. Nicholas County

W – Bourbon County (79-59)
W – Mason County (100-70)
W – Augusta (80-47)
L – Lexington Christian (63-83)

The Bluejackets improved to 4-2 this week and swept three 10th Region foes. They defeated Mason County for the first time since 1999. Braxton Martin scored 26 points against Bourbon County and 29 against Mason County. Against Augusta, Peyton Hatton and Caiden Smith scored 22 and 20 points, respectively.

5. Bourbon County

L – Nicholas County (59-79)
W – Mason County (88-78)
W – Western Hills (78-75)

Mark Perraut led with 17 points in the loss to Nicholas County. Noah Earlywine scored 28 with 11 rebounds against Mason County. Transfer from Paris Quinton Rice is eligible and playing, averaging 8.2 ppg. The Colonels are now 3-2.

6. Harrison County

L – Fleming County (59-68)

The Thorobreds dropped to 0-4 on the season, losing their only game this week. Guard Sawyer Cracraft led the ‘Breds with 21 points, going 5 of 13 from three.

7. Bishop Brossart (+1)

L – Grant County (50-61)
W – New Richmond, OH (74-48)
L – Beechwood (59-65)

Ben Franzen’s Mustangs are 2-4 after Week 2. A different played led in scoring every game this week. Carson Hesse led with 16 against Grant County. Nick Cozzi scored 20 against New Richmond, OH. Drew Steffen led with 27 against Beechwood.

8. Pendleton County (-1)

Did not play. The Wildcats are 1-1.

9. Mason County (+1)

L – Nicholas County (70-100)
L – Bourbon County (78-88)

The Royals are 1-3 after losing two regional games this week. Mason County is putting up 78.5 ppg, but is giving up 89.5. Ben Brookbank is averaging 23.3 ppg, and Jace Merz follows with 19.5 ppg. Kyson Fox leads in rebounding with 7.5 per game.

10. Scott (-1)

L – Beechwood (32-76)
W – Boone County (81-45)

The Eagles are 3-1 after two lopsided margins this week. Jordan Clemons scored 17 points against Boone County.

11. Bracken County (+3)

W – Menifee County (83-58)
W – Robertson County (69-33)
W – Augusta (66-54)

The Polar Bears are 5-0 for the first time since 2006. Teegan Feldhaus is averaging 20.6 ppg, and 6-7777 big man Kyler Burton is averaging 18.6 ppg with 7.4 rpg. They defeated county rival Augusta for the first time since January 2023.

12. Augusta

L – Nicholas County (47-80)
L – Bracken County (54-66)

Jason Hinson’s Panthers are 2-3 after losing two games against regional All “A” opponents.

13. Paris (-3)

L – Tates Creek (38-91)

Brayden Straight leads the team with 13.5 ppg. The Greyhounds’ transfer QB Guy Turner is averaging 12 ppg. Zarion Snowden played one game with the team last week, scoring 13 points. However, he transferred to Bourbon County and is awaiting eligibility. Coach Eli Strait’s son, Keegan Strait, is averaging 2.5 ppg. Note the different spellings of the two players. Paris is 0-2.

14. Calvary Christian (-1)

W – Dayton (58-31)

The Cougars are 3-1 and led in scoring by Luke Getsy with 15.2 ppg.

15. St. Patrick

W – Robertson County (80-36)
L – Frankfort Christian (55-64)

Lex Turner’s Saints are 1-3 but have already shown significant improvement from last year under their veteran coach. Amari Myrick is averaging 32.7 ppg.

16. Robertson County

L – St. Patrick (36-80)
L – Bracken County (33-69)

The Black Devils are 0-4.
