10th Region Boys Basketball Review & Rankings: Week 10

10thRegion.com’s boys basketball coverage is sponsored by Bracken County Farm Bureau, Agent Larry Smith.

These rankings reflect games played through Sunday, January 8th.

1. George Rogers Clark (19-4) — The Cardinals defeated Montgomery County in double overtime on January 30. They then fell at Lexington Catholic on February 3. They also beat Bourbon County, Madison Southern, and Danville Christian last week.

2. Montgomery County (12-10) — The Indians lost a close one at Madison Central last week. They beat Nicholas County by 35 points a few days later.

3. Campbell County (17-8) — The Camels played a slew of 9th Region opponents. They lost to Highlands in overtime at Northern Kentucky University and lost to Holy Cross. They then beat Simon Kenton and Newport Central Catholic.

4. Nicholas County (15-7) — The Bluejackets beat Pendleton County and fell to Montgomery County last week. They then defeated Harrison County to secure the one seed in the 38th District Tournament.

5. Bishop Brossart (11-10) — The Mustangs beat Scott on January 30, and if they beat Calvary Christian will secure the one seed in the 37th District.

6. Bourbon County (15-9) — The Colonels lost big man Nash Wilson for the season. They defeated Paris and will more than likely be the three seed facing the two seed, Montgomery County.

7. Scott (12-10) — The Eagles lost to St. Henry and beat Grant County.

8. Calvary Christian (16-7) — The Cougars lost to Holmes and beat Bellevue last week.
