1. George Rogers Clark
W – Bourbon County (88-50)
W – Montgomery County (73-47)
L – Adair County (61-62)
The Cardinals are 12-3 after two district wins and a loss to a highly ranked Adair County team. Four players scored in double figures in their 38-point win at Bourbon County. Malachi Ashford led with 18 points. Sam Spillman had 14 with four 3-point shots. The Cards again had four players in double figures at home vs. Montgomery County. Maddox Hager and Malachi Ashford both scored 16 points. Eli Craig and Montex Gay added 10 more each. Eli Craig led with 17 points in their one-point loss to Adair County. Ashford leads the team, averaging 15.5 ppg. Following is Gay with 11.9 and Craig with 11.4. Ashford is shooting 51.3% from three, making 20 of 39 shots. Gay leads the team in rebounds with 7.5 per game, and Amari Bartelson follows with 6.9.
2. Campbell County
W – Mason County (73-54)
W – Scott (80-50)
The Camels are 12-3 and had two regional wins this week. Freshman Austin Davie dropped 27 points vs. Mason County with 11 rebounds. Xavier Fancer followed with 19 points. Garyn Jackson led with 27 points in their district win over Scott with 9 rebounds. Davie leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.3 and 7.8. Jackson follows with 15.8 and 6.9. Zach Franzen shoots 47.8% from three with 48 attempts and 22 makes.
3. Mason County
L – Campbell County (54-73)
W – St. Patrick (65-19)
L – Fleming County (72-93)
The Royals are an even 7-7 after week seven. They battled with Campbell County in Claryville without their big man Cole Horch, who was out sick. Braeden Myrick led with 22 points and three 3-point goals. Garryon McClain had 19. The Royals beat St. Patrick in the downtown Maysville High School gym in what was a “home” game for St. Patrick. It was Mason County’s first game in the historic Earle D. Jones Gymnasium since 1987, when they played the Maysville Bulldogs. Cole Horch returned to play vs. Fleming County but scored just 4 points. It was Fleming County’s second trip to the Fieldhouse this season. Garryon McClain led with 27 points in the loss.
4. Montgomery County
W – Pendleton County (54-46)
L – George Rogers Clark (47-73)
The Indians, now 7-8, pulled out a close one in Falmouth. Pendleton led at halftime 26-23 before MoCo took the lead early in the third quarter. Tyce Jarvis led with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Dawson Gentry followed with 12 points and four 3-point goals. In their district loss to GRC, Jarvis again led with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Good news for the Indians, Cayden Reed returns to action on Saturday for the game vs. Mason County. The game is at 2:00 pm at Fleming County in the Lake Kelly Classic.
5. Bourbon County
L – George Rogers Clark (50-88)
W – Highlands Latin (67-56)
W – Paris (78-53)
The Colonels are 9-5 and split district games last week. Marquis Ferguson led with 17 against GRC and 16 verse Paris. He also had 23 against Highlands Latin. Ferguson is averaging 19.3 ppg and Noah Earlywine follows with 13.4. Earlywine leads in rebounding with 6.2 per game.
6. Bishop Brossart (+3)
W – Robertson County (98-25)
W – Augusta (73-58)
W – Paris (77-63)
L – Berea (68-88)
The Mustangs are now 9-6 and won three straight to capture their seventeenth 10th Region All “A” Classic title. Domyniq Hadden led with 17 points in their win over Augusta. Beckett Kuntz followed with 15. Parker Mulberry led the Mustangs in the championship game over Paris with 23 points. Alex Combs added 18 and Ben Doyle had 15. Doyle and Mulberry had three 3-point goals each in the championship. The well-rounded scoring Mustangs have seven players averaging 5 or more points per game and four players averaging double figures.
7. Pendleton County
L – Montgomery County (46-54)
W – Nicholas County (58-56)
W – Bracken County (89-52)
Mason Monroe’s Wildcats are 8-5 and had a big district win over Nicholas County last week. Kamden O’Hara had a big night versus the Bluejackets, putting up 23 points with 5 rebounds and making seven 3’s. Aden Merrill had 21 points in their loss to MoCo. Merill also put up 26 points with 7 assists in their win over Bracken County.
8. Paris (+3)
W – Bracken County (70-53)
W – Nicholas County (67-62)
L – Bishop Brossart (63-77)
L – Bourbon County (53-78)
The Greyhounds are 8-10 and fell to Bishop Brossart in the All “A” Classic championship. Elijah Webb led with 15 in that game. Webb and Quinton Rice both had 17 points in the semifinals against Nicholas County.
9. Nicholas County (-3)
W – Calvary Christian (54-51)
L – Paris (62-67)
L – Pendleton County (56-58)
The Bluejackets are 7-6 and took two tough losses last week. They struggled against Calvary Christian in the All “A” opener and fell to Paris in the semifinals. They ended the week losing a district game to Pendleton County. Braxton Martin leads the team with 15.1 ppg and Maddox Donovan follows with 14.8. Preston Blake and Caiden Smith both average 12 rebounds a game, and the team averages 43.6 per game.
10. Augusta (-2)
W – St. Patrick (82-51)
L – Bishop Brossart (68-73)
Jason Hinson’s Panthers are 8-6 and fell in the All “A” semifinals to Bishop Brossart. Keeton Bach scored 27 points in the loss. Bach is averaging 18.1 ppg. Noland Young follows with 16.6 ppg and Will Kelsch is adding 12.6 ppg.
11. Scott (-1)
W – Calvary Christian (65-51)
L – Campbell County (50-80)
The Eagles are 6-9 and split district games this week. Aaron Hampton led with 16 points against Campbell County in Taylor Mill. Hampton is averaging 13.1 ppg and Jordan Clemons adds 11.9 ppg.
12. Harrison County
W – Robertson County (87-33)
L – Lafayette (47-60)
The Thorobreds are 3-10 and got their first win of the new year over Robertson County. No player averages more than 10 points per game for the ‘Breds. Donovan Walker scored a career-high 19 points versus Robertson County. Jayden Boyers led with 15 points and 8 rebounds vs. Lafayette.
13. Bracken County
L – Paris (53-70)
W – East Carter (56-51)
L – Pendleton County (52-89)
The Polar Bears are 5-12 after losing two and winning one game last week. They fell to Paris 53-70 in the first round of the All “A” Classic. Last Friday, they defeated East Carter 56-51 in Grayson. Noah Nelson led with 29 points. Ashton Buchanan added 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists in his first full week back with the team. The Polar Bears lost to Pendleton County for the second time this season in Brooksville on Friday. Ashton Buchanan had 15 points.
14. Calvary Christian
L – Nicholas County (51-54)

L – Holmes (59-62)
The Cougars are 4-10 and loss three games last week. Sophomore Peyton Morris leads in scoring with 16.4 ppg. Luke Getsey averages 9.3 rpg.
15. Robertson County
L – Bishop Brossart (25-98)
L – Harrison County (33-87)
The Black Devils are 4-8 after two losses last week. Ashton Myers leads in scoring with 11.1 ppg.
16. St. Patrick
L – Augusta (51-92)
L – Mason County (19-65)
W – Covington Latin (60-50)
The Saints are 2-12 under interim coach Chris Bauer. They got their first win of the new year over Covington Latin. Amari Myrick scored 31 points in the win. He’s averaging 15.4 ppg.
