PARIS, Ky. — Bishop Brossart won the 2026 10th Region All “A” Classic over Paris at Cary Barr Field on Saturday. They defeated the Greyhounds 12-0 in five innings in the title game. To get there, they beat Nicholas County 2-0 in the semifinals behind Luke Nelter’s pitching and Brady Rowe’s two-run RBI double.

The Mustangs will host 9th Region winner Beechwood on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the sectional round. The winner will advance to the All “A” Classic Statewide Tournament at Daviess County High School in Owensboro, KY.

The semifinals game between Bishop Brossart and Nicholas County was scoreless through five innings. Bishop Brossart’s Luke Neltner threw a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out five. Nicholas County’s Jayden Robinson also went the distance and gave up just three hits.

Bishop Brossart broke through in the top of the sixth. After Brady Boruske grounded out to start the inning, Luke Neltner reached on an error. Landon Ruth then hit a fly ball for the second out, but Bishop Brossart kept the inning going. Isaac Amin followed with a single to right, which moved courtesy runner Carter Boruske to third. Brady Rowe then lined a double to left that brought in both runners for the game’s only runs.

Nicholas County had chances earlier in the game but could not get the timely hit. In the first inning, Chandler Kenney singled and moved to third, but Bishop Brossart got out of the inning on a lineout to center and a groundout. Nicholas County also put pressure on in the fifth when Jimmy Marcum singled and Ethan Ritchie walked with one out. That chance ended when Braxtyn Mynear lined out and courtesy runner Easton Adams was caught stealing third to end the inning.

Nicholas County threatened again in the sixth. Jackson Zimmerman reached on an error and moved up when Bentley Crump grounded out. Asher Holland then singled to left, putting runners at the corners with two outs. Neltner got out of that spot by retiring Robinson on a fly ball to right.

Nicholas County’s last chance came in the seventh when Mynear was hit by a pitch with two outs, but Easton Adams struck out and Ethan Ritchie lined out to shortstop to end the game.

Holland led Nicholas County with two hits. Kenney and Marcum had the other hits.
