A 35-second shot clock is coming to Kentucky high school basketball after the KHSAA Board of Control voted 13-5 to approve the measure. This will be implemented in 2027-28 — two seasons from now.

This comes after a summer survey showed nearly 60% of the schools said they were against a shot clock.
