From Campbell County Athletics:

Coach Honaker, a CCHS alumnus, has been selected as the new head football coach at Campbell County High School. Coach Honaker is a native of Wilder, KY, and grew up playing football for the Red Devils and Campbell County High School. He is entering his 23rd year of coaching, bringing experience at both the high school level (Kentucky and Georgia) and the collegiate level (Heidelberg University and Thomas More University). He has coached in state championship games, as well as in collegiate playoffs, having served as a Head Coach, Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Special Teams Coordinator.

His passion for the game and focus on academics, athletics, and citizenship will help build a solid foundation for the Camel football program at all levels. He and his wife, Kristin, will be bringing their family of six children back to the Campbell County community. Coach Honaker, with his “WE over ME” mantra, is extremely excited and honored to be… HOME!
