Nicholas County announced Spencer Morris as the next head basketball coach on Friday. Morris is a 2018 graduate of Nicholas and was an assistant last season. The Bluejackets were 17-14 last season, making it to the All “A” Classic finals.

The school announced on Facebook:

“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new head basketball coach, Spencer Morris! With an impressive background in coaching and a passion for the game, Coach Morris is set to lead our team to new heights this season.

Principal Kevin Miller shared, “We are delighted to name Spencer as our new basketball coach. His dedication to fostering both athletic and personal growth in our students aligns perfectly with our values. We look forward to an exciting season under his leadership.”
