From the Paris City Schools Facebook:

It’s time to welcome Brittany McDaniels as the new PHS Softball Coach!

“I have been an assistant coach of the Paris High School Softball team for the past 5 years. I was the Head Coach of the Paris Middle School Softball team for the past 3 years. I was selected to be an assistant coach at the USSSA national All-State tournament held in Florida, where I had the opportunity to coach girls all across the country leading to a 3rd place finish. I have coached softball at the youth and travel levels. I am a graduate of Bryan Station High School. I played high school softball there as well. I am very excited to start my career as the Paris High School Softball Coach. I am a wife and mother of 4 children. I am native to Lexington but my 2nd home has always been Paris. My children have attended pairs schools and just graduated my oldest from there. I look forward to succeeding the legend himself (Coach Rice) and embrace the challenges that come with it. I am ready to continue the standard that he has laid down within this program as well as start my own legacy for years to come. This opportunity is special to me in many ways and one that I am very thankful and honored to hold as I can continue what Coach Rice started.”
