The KHSAA sent out a survey to schools for discussion on implementing a shot clock. The poll stated, “Schools should indicate their determination as to whether or not the Board of Control should consider
the adoption of the 35-second shot clock for the 2025-26 school year.”
The pros argued for a shot clock would be a better game to watch for fans and a better pace of place. While the argument against being that it is unnessecarcy at the high school level and problems with cost and operation.
