
1. George Rogers Clark (15-3) — The Cardinals have won nine straight and defeated Tates Creek (81-64) and Paris (91-44) this past week. Montez Gay led GRC with 25 points against Tates Creek. Gay leads the team with 17.4 ppg. Malachi Ashford led with 21 points against Paris. The Cards are scheduled to host Montgomery County on Friday night to determine the #1 seed in the 40th District Tournament.
2. Montgomery County (10-7) — The Indians defeated two 10th Region opponents this week, beating Paris (84-56) and #4-ranked Campbell County (78-66).
3. Nicholas County (15-6) — The Bluejackets fell to Harlan (64-60) in the opening round of the All “A” Classic Statewide Tournament in Owensboro. Caiden Smith led with 17 points and Peyton Hatton added 16.
5. Campbell County (14-5) — The Camels hosted Bracken County and defeated the Polar Bears 84-64. They then traveled across the 10th Region to face Montgomery County in Mt. Sterling. They fell to the Indians 78-66. Cade Anthrop and Austin Davie both scored 20 points.
4. Bishop Brossart (8-9) — The Mustangs played one game beating Gallatin County 81-51 in Warsaw. Drew Steffen led with 23 points and Nicholas Cozzi followed with 16.
6. Bourbon County (14-7) — The Colonels have won five straight and defeated Breathitt County (81-57), Pendleton County (67-57), and Menifee County (70-34) in three days. Noah Earlywine scored 28 and 20 points the first two games but did not play against Menifee County.
7. Scott (11-7) — The Eagles defeated Harrison County (64-51) and Augusta (83-36) last week. Freshman Benjamin Brown scored 20 points in both games and is averaging 26 ppg after five games played.
8. Calvary Christian (13-6) — The Cougars have won five straight gamesand beat Williamstown (76-50), Trinity Christian (77-28), and Villa Madonna (61-49) last week. Collin Duty scored 30 points against Williamstown and Luke Getsy scored 20 with 12 rebounds.
9. Pendleton County (9-9) — The Wildcats lost to Bourbon County (67-57) and defeated district rival Harrison County (60-44) last week. JaZi Grayson scored 22 points in the loss to the Colonels.
10. Paris (2-14) — The Greyhounds have battled an inconsistent roster all year. Braylon Francis is the only player to play in all 16 games. Paris took two losses to Montgomery County (84-56) and George Rogers Clark (91-44).
11. Bracken County (10-8) — The Polar Bears fell to Campbell County (84-64) and then for the first time in 27 years beat Mason County (70-60). 6-7 Kyler Burton scored 19 points and had 17 rebounds (seven offensive, ten defensive), shooting 8-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 at the line.
12. Mason County (2-14) — The Royals have lost 11 straight and are scheduled to take on Augusta on Friday to help decide the 39th District Tournament seeding.
13. Harrison County (4-15) — The Thorobreds lost to Scott (64-51) and Pendleton County (60-44) last week. Sawyer Cracraft led in scoring in both games.
14. Augusta (5-11) — The Panthers lost two games to Scott (83-36) and Owen County (73-62). Maddox Hesler scored 26 points against Owen County.
15. St. Patrick (7-8) — The Saints rolled past Covington Latin, 70-21.
16. Robertson County (1-17) — The Black Devils dropped two games to Augusta and Nicholas County.
