
These rankings reflect games played from Friday, December 26th to Sunday, January 4th.
1. George Rogers Clark
The Cardinals are 8-2 after a post-Christmas trip to Myrtle Beach. They won two games in the Beach Ball Classic. They returned to Kentucky and beat Hazard 78-43. Montez Gay leads the team with 17.1 ppg and 6.8 rpg. Ryder Akins follows with 14.6 ppg.
2. Montgomery County
The Indians are 7-4 after a trip to Bristol, Virginia for the Arby’s Classic. Andrew Terry leads with 21.6 ppg and Tyce Jarvis is averaging 18 ppg. Transfer Austin Sears has still not been ruled eligible.
3. Nicholas County (+1)
The Bluejackets are 11-4 after a trip to Pineville for the Chain Rock Classic, where they won games against Jackson City, Pineville, and Trimble County. They then beat Harrison County 66-48 in Carlisle. Peyton Hatton leads the team with 17.5 ppg. Braxton Martin (20.2 ppg) has been injured, missing six games this season.
4. Bishop Brossart (+3)
The Mustangs are 4-7 (with a tough schedule) and had a decisive win over crosstown rival Campbell County. Brossart led the entire game after being down 3-2 at the start. Drew Steffen leads with 13.6 ppg and Brady Boruske adds 12.3 ppg. Both are juniors.
5. Campbell County (-2)
The Camels (9-3) had won seven straight games before losing to rival Bishop Brossart. With 23.1 ppg and 9.2 rpg, sophomore Austin Davie leads the Camels’ stat line.
6. Bourbon County (-1)
The Colonels are 7-6 and led in scoring by Noah Earlywine, averaging 21.2 ppg.
7. Scott (+1)
The Eagles are 7-3 and had a road victory in Falmouth over Pendleton County. Jordan Clemons is averaging 16.9 ppg.
8. Mason County (+1)
The Royals are 2-9 and led in scoring by Ben Brookbank with 18.5 ppg.
