10th Region Boys Basketball Review and Rankings: Week 8
It was a slow week in the 10th Region across the state. With most schools out for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and two rounds of snow and cold weather, teams were lucky if they got in one game this week. Be sure to check the KHSAA Scoreboard for updated schedules.
1. George Rogers Clark
The Cardinals are 17-1 and did not play.
2. Mason County
The Royals are 11-6. They defeated Pendleton County 88-49 at home. Blake Reed led with 20 points. Cayden Reed followed with 16 points.
3. Campbell County
The Camels are 13-4. They defeated Cov. Holy Cross 58-42. Conner Weinel led with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
4. Augusta
The Panthers are 11-4 and did not play this week. They play in the All “A” Classic vs. Walton-Verona on Thursday at 1:00 pm in Corbin.
5. Harrison County
The Thorobreds are 5-10 and did not play this week.
6. Scott
The Eagles are 10-9 and defeated two district opponents, Calvary Christian 74-36 and Bishop Brossart 70-45.
7. Pendleton County
The Wildcats are 10-9 and loss to Mason County 49-88.
8. Paris
They Greyhounds are 5-10 and did not play this week.
9. Bourbon County
The Colonels are 8-9 and defeated Nicholas County 70-60.
10. Montgomery County
The Indians are 7-11 and did not play this week.
11. Nicholas County
The Bluejackets are 8-10 and lost to Bourbon County 60-70.
12. Bishop Brossart
The Mustangs are 3-13 and lost to St. Henry 48-56 and Scott 45-70.
13. Bracken County
The Polar Bears are 5-16 and did not play this week.
14. Calvary Christian
The Cougars are 6-14 and lost to Scott 36-74 and beat Dayton 60-51.
15. St. Patrick
The Saints are 2-10 and did not play this week.
16. Robertson County
The Black Devils are 2-13 and did not play this week.
