Blake Reed had a historic night on Friday vs. Green County in the Mike Murphy Classic at the Fieldhouse.

Reed broke the 10th Region scoring record of 3,542 points, which was held by Chris Harrison of Tollesboro since 1991.

Blake scored 362 at Augusta as a 7th grader, 676 at Bracken as an 8th grader, 618 points as a freshman, 968 as a sophomore, 857 as a junior, bringing his total to 3,481 points before his senior year at Mason County. He is on pace to finish in the top three in every KHSAA offense category: points, threes, field goals, and free throws.

Reed also nailed a three from the corner pocket to give the Royals the win over Green County, 80-77.
