The Camels’ program had a rough weekend losing to their in-county rival Highlands 44-13, where their coach Brian Weinrich spent almost a decade as head coach. Off the field, the Campbell County football program is in the middle of an accused assault allegedly happening on the bus ride to Woodford County. Police and school officials are investigating.

West Jessamine 44, Harrison County 26

The Thorobreds’ defense has been struggling to say the least. They have given up 36 and 22 points, and last week gave up 70 points to Bourbon County. The offense has been putting up big numbers as well behind QB Kayden Custard, scoring 53 points this week vs. Bourbon.

Nicholas County 38, Fort Knox 10

Paris 35, Ludlow 34

They Greyhounds fell at Pineville last week 50-19. They host 2-0 Ludlow this week in what should be one of the best games in the area. Paris has a balanced rushing and reciving attack from Jakari Ransom and Darian Bell, who are avergaing nearly identical offenseive stats.

Henry County 61, Pendleton County 3

It looks like the Wildcats’ rough year will continue this week. They did have a solid outing against Newport last week, although losing 31-16. They lost to Owen County last year 45-0.

Scott got in the win column last week with a dominating performance over Holy Cross. Bennie Hill ran for 182 yards scoring 2 touchdowns. They fell to Boone County the week prior 14-13.

Bye Week

Mason County heads into the bye week at 3-0. The Royals feel pretty good after their win over Tates Creek, arguably the best team they will play all year. They take on Boyd County on the road in Week 5, which will be another tough challenge.
