Jake Martin named new Bishop Brossart football coach

From the Bishop Brossart Athletic Department:

Bishop Brossart High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacob Martin as the new Head Football Coach.

Coach Martin is a 2017 graduate of Bishop Brossart High School, where he played four years of football for the Mustangs. Over the past two seasons, he has served as Defensive Coordinator for the Pendleton County Wildcats under Coach Jaegger Graham.

Prior to his time at Pendleton County, Coach Martin was a member of the Bishop Brossart coaching staff from 2018 to 2023 under Coach Paul Wiggins. During that time, he held multiple roles, including JV Head Coach, JV Defensive Coordinator, Varsity Defensive and Offensive Line Coach, and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.

A lifelong resident of California, Kentucky, Coach Martin is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish and is the owner of Martin Hardwood Flooring LLC.

Coach Martin met with members of the football team this morning and plans to meet with the members of the current coaching staff later today.
