10th Region Girls Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026

The 10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association announces their selections for the Hall of Fame class of 2026. These are on by the head coaches. The following was released by the Association:

Marie Kiefer: Bishop Brossart High School, 2017-2021

A player whose impact was felt on both ends of the floor, this inductee combined offensive dominance with an impenetrable defensive presence. From shattering records at Bishop Brossart to becoming a defensive powerhouse in NCAA Division I, her career is a testament to consistency, shot-blocking prowess, and academic excellence.

As the leader of the Lady Mustangs, she anchored the program’s historic run to the 10th Region Title and an appearance at Rupp Arena in 2021. She finished as the school record holder for career rebounds (1,058) and is the second-leading scorer in program history with 1,785 points. For her accomplishments, Marie was named the 10th Region Player of the Year (2021) and a two-time NKY Coaches Association Division 2 Player of the Year (2020, 2021). Additionally, she earned Lexington Herald-Leader 2nd Team All-State honors and was selected to the prestigious Kentucky All-Star Team for the KY/IN All-Star Game.

Marie took her talents to Ball State University where she transformed into one of the most feared defenders in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), starting 131 out of 137 career games. She set the Ball State all-time career record for blocked shots (200) and the single-season record (60) earning her MAC defensive player of the year honors. In 2025, Marie played a pivotal role in leading the Cardinals to a MAC Championship and a berth in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. A model of off-court discipline, she was named to the Academic All-American Team all four years of her collegiate career.

Madison Kellione: Harrison County High School, 2012-2019

From the high school hardwood of the 10th Region to the pinnacle of collegiate basketball, Madison defined what it means to be a “complete” player. Combining elite scoring, tenacious defense, and academic brilliance, her career is a masterclass in leadership and versatility.

A mainstay for Harrison County, she was a varsity force for seven seasons, leading the Fillies to a dominant 26-8 record and a regional championship game appearance in 2019. Over her 194 games, Madison scored 2,491 points, pulled down 805 rebounds, handed out 467 assists and had 385 steals. For her efforts, she earned 10th Region All-Tournament honors for three consecutive years and was a five-time 38th District All-Tournament selection. In 2019 she was named the KABC 10th Region Player of the Year and a Miss Basketball candidate.

Transitioning to the college ranks, she didn’t just compete—she conquered. As a starting Point Guard, she reached the mountain top of NCAA Division III basketball leading Transylvania University to the national championship while earning MOP honors at the final four and was recognized as a WBCA First-Team All-American and the HCAC Co-Player of the Year. Additionally, she was the winner of the prestigious NCAA Elite 90 Award, recognizing her as the student- athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site for the entire national championship. Upon graduation from Transy, Madison took her talents to Tennessee Tech University and Marshall University to complete her collegiate eligibility.

Kaytlin Siegmundt Penticuff: Campbell County High School, 2010-2013

Kaytlin enters the Hall of Fame as one of the most consistent and formidable forces to ever command the paint for the Lady Camels. A true “double-double” threat and a defensive anchor, her career was defined by elite efficiency and an unwavering winning pedigree.

Over her storied tenure, Kaytlin led her team to 61 victories, serving as the cornerstone of a golden era for the program. Her individual excellence was matched only by her team’s success, as she helped power the Lady Camels to three consecutive 37th District Championships (2011– 2013) and back-to-back 10th Region Runner-up finishes.

Kaytlin’s numbers reflect a player who combined scoring touch with relentless rebounding as she totaled 1,021 points while shooting 51% from the floor and grabbed 792 rebounds. For her efforts, she was named 10th Region All-Region twice, NKYGBCA Division 1 All Division team, 10th Region tournament all-tournament team twice and 37th District tournament all tournament team three times.

Cindi Bromagen: Bath County High School, 1977-1980

Cindi was a tenacious rebounder who helped lead Bath County to the 10th region tournament multiple years. She typically was assigned to guard the best “big” and always held her own. While there are gaps in stats, she scored about 750 points for her career. Recording a double-double with points and rebounds was a common game night for her. Cindi is a member of the Bath County Hall of Fame.

Cathy Triplett: Bath County High School, 1975-1978

A pioneer for the LadyCats in the return of girls’ basketball as a sanctioned sport, Cathi was arguably the best point guard in the region during the 1975 season. She was a true point guard, leading the team in assists and directing play as a coach on the floor. She scored over 600 points (points for one season are missing). She is a member of the Bath County Hall of Fame.

Paige Bowling: Campbell County High School, 2004-2009

A true “coach on the floor” and the ultimate teammate, Paige defines the spirit of Lady Camel basketball. Her journey began earlier than most, earning a spot on the freshman roster as just a 7th grader before quickly ascending to the Varsity stage as an 8th grader. Known for her selfless play and infectious positivity, Paige was the heartbeat of the team for five seasons.

Paige’s impact transcended the box score. Starting her career as a primary point guard, she later transitioned to small forward and off-guard to meet the team’s needs, always putting the program first. Paige was famous (and sometimes infamous to her coaches!) for her passing. She “never met a pass she didn’t like,” frequently passing up her own scoring opportunities to set up a teammate for a better look. Whether a teammate missed a shot or made a turnover, Paige was the first person there with a word of encouragement: “That’s okay, we’ll get it next time!”

Over her five-year varsity tenure, Paige built a versatile statistical profile that showcased her ability to contribute in every facet of the game. She scored 900 points, grabbed 450 rebounds, handed out 380 assists and snagged 250 steals even while missing over half of her sophomore season with an injury.

Following her high school career, Paige took her talents to Thomas More College, competing for one season with the Saints. Her passion for the game and leadership naturally led her into a career of service where she now shares her knowledge and heart as a teacher and former coach at Pendleton County High School, inspiring the next generation of students and athletes.

Evan Dennison: Media Member, 2014-Present

If there’s a ball, a scoreboard, or a buzzer involved, chances are Evan is already there. A lifelong sports fanatic turned seasoned sports editor and reporter, Evan brings passion, insight, and heart to every story he tells—whether it’s from behind his keyboard or from the sidelines.

Evan graduated from Centennial High School in Franklin, TN in 2001, where his love for athletics really took root. He carried that energy to Western Kentucky University, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2006. Shortly after, he landed his first dream role with the Titan’s Radio Network, kicking off his professional life right where he always wanted to be: in the middle of the action.

After a brief pivot into the mortgage world from 2008 to 2013, Evan found his way back to the field—literally and figuratively. In 2014 he joined The Messenger in Madisonville, KY as a sports reporter, quickly proving he was exactly where he belonged. One year later, he stepped into a bigger opportunity at The Ledger Independent in Maysville, KY, where he spent seven years shaping, covering, and elevating local sports as their sports editor and reporter.

Evan moved to Cincinnati, OH in late 2021, bringing his trademark enthusiasm and deep play-by-play knowledge with him. In December 2022, he joined Link NKY as their sports editor and reporter, continuing to spotlight the athletes, coaches, and stories that make local sports unforgettable.

But Evan doesn’t just write about sports—he lives them. When he’s not working, you’ll find him coaching his son’s basketball team, pacing the sidelines of a baseball or soccer field, or with some kind of game playing on TV (and yes, always in HD). His dedication to athletics goes beyond fandom; it’s about community, teamwork, and the joy of watching young athletes grow.
