My name is William Jones, and I am the founder of 10thRegion.com. I created this website to help promote the success of our local student-athletes and provide news coverage to them through my passion of media and journalism. For my full-time job, I am a social studies and computer science teacher at Harrison County High School.

The 10th Region includes 16 schools across Northeastern Kentucky: Calvary Christian, Campbell County, Scott, Bishop Brossart, Pendleton County, Harrison County, Nicholas County, Robertson County, Bracken County, Mason County, Augusta, St. Patrick, Bourbon County, Paris, Montgomery County, and George Rogers Clark.
We provide play-by-play updates for games and write news articles nightly for area games. We also write about the latest news in the region and statewide. Every week, we post rankings and tournament previews, as well as post-season awards. We are currently preparing to cover the KHSAA Girls and Boys Sweet 16® State Basketball Tournament.
Since the website was launched in June 2022, we have received nearly 350,000 page views from 60,000 people as of February 2023.
The cost of an advertisement is $25.00 per month from March to the end of June. You can pay monthly or for an entire season at a discounted rate. I would like to use funds to create paid internships for high school students with and interest in sports media and journalism to cover games at their high school. The goal is to have a student at every high school giving student athletes even more coverage.
Due to our advanced website analytics, we can track how many people visit 10thRegion.com every day. We can also track how many times your advertisement is viewed and how may times a user clicks on your ad that can link directly to your website. The audience visiting our website will be high school athletes, coaches, fans, and parents.
